Y Garn
Y Garn is a fell race based at the Railway Car Park, Rhyd Ddu, LL54 6TN. The course distance is 4 km (2.5 mi) with 410 m (1345 ft) of ascent. The event is part of the North Wales Mid Week Series and is insured by WFRA.
The route is partially marked. Navigational skills are required and local knowledge is beneficial for competitors.
Entry information notes a day fee of £2 and a pre-registration option that is available up to 20.00 the previous Sunday with no payment required at registration. Minimum age for the main race is over 15. Junior categories are under 8, under 10, under 12 and under 14; junior entry is £1.
Recorded course times include a male time of 25:15 set in 2025 and a female time of 30:17 set in 2019.
