About the race
The 2XU Triathlon Series Race 4 takes place at Elwood Reserve in Elwood on Sunday 28 February 2027. The event runs multiple race categories with specified minimum ages and distances for each category.
Distances:
- Sprint Series (minimum age 15): 750m / 20km / 5km
- Fun Tri (minimum age 12): 250m / 10km / 3km
- Tri Kids (age 7–11): 100m / 3km / 500m
Entry fees are published by category: Sprint individual and team entries, Fun Tri individual and team entries, and Tri Kids individual entries. A late registration fee applies from midday on Wednesday 24 February, and registrations close at 4pm on Friday 26 February; there are no event day registrations. Participants receive eTickets for kit collection and a Race Day Information and Wave Starts guide by email during race week. Event kit collection and bike check-in occur on the day before and the morning of the event for each category. Some race categories are draft legal for eligible elite and junior divisions across the Sprint races. Beach Road between St Kilda Street and Kerferd Road will be closed for the event and managed crossings will be in place; local resident access is maintained with passes issued.
