About the race
The 2XU Triathlon Series Race 4 takes place at Elwood Reserve, Elwood on Sunday 28 February 2027. The event program includes three race categories with swim, bike and run legs and separate guides and e-guides for each category. E-tickets for kit collection are emailed to participants in race week and are used for kit collection.
Categories and distances:
- Sprint Series (minimum age 15): 750m / 20km / 5km
- Fun Tri (minimum age 12): 250m / 10km / 3km
- Tri Kids (age 7–11): 100m / 3km / 500m
Entry fees are published per category and include GST and booking fees. Prices increase by $10 on Wednesday 24 February at 12:00pm, and a late fee applies from that date. Registrations close at 4:00pm on Friday 26 February unless sold out earlier; there are no event-day registrations. Triathlon Australia membership is mandatory; one-day memberships are available at specified costs per category.
Race logistics published to participants include wave starts, bike check-in and pre-race briefs. Beach Road will be closed between St Kilda St and Kerferd Rd during the event, with managed crossings and maintained resident access. Volunteer opportunities are available for Race 4.
