About the race
The 2XU Triathlon Series Race 4 takes place at Elwood Reserve, Elwood on Sunday 28 February 2027. The event includes separate race categories with minimum ages and set swim-bike-run distances.
Distances:
- Sprint Series (minimum age 15): 750m / 20km / 5km
- Fun Tri (minimum age 12): 250m / 10km / 3km
- Tri Kids (ages 7–11): 100m / 3km / 500m
Registration details note a late fee applies from Wednesday 24 February and registrations close on Friday 26 February unless sold out; there are no event day registrations. Entry prices are published by category and include GST and booking fees; examples listed are $119 for an individual Sprint entry, $79 for Fun Tri individual, and $46 for Tri Kids individual. Triathlon Australia (TA) membership is mandatory; one-day TA memberships are available at specified costs for each category.
Participants receive eTickets for kit collection and wave start information is emailed in race week. Some race categories are draft legal as specified for elite, junior elite, and youth divisions. Beach Road will be closed along the course during the event with resident access maintained and traffic management in place. Volunteer opportunities are available for Race 4.
