2XU Triathlon Series Race 3
The event is the third race of the 2XU Triathlon Series held at Trevor Barker Oval, Sandringham on Sunday 7 February 2027. It includes multiple race formats and age categories, and will host the 2027 AusTriathlon Age Group Team National Selection Race (Standard Distance Triathlon).
Distances offered:
- Tri Kids: 100m swim / 3km bike / 500m run (ages 7–11)
- Fun Tri: 250m swim / 8km bike / 3km run (minimum age 12)
- Sprint Series: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run (minimum age 15)
- Olympic Distance: 1.5km swim / 40km bike / 10km run (minimum age 15)
- Aqua Bike: 1.5km swim / 40km bike (minimum age 15)
Registration details note a $10 late fee from 12pm on Wednesday 3 February, with registrations closing 4pm on Friday 5 February unless sold out; there are no event day registrations. Entry prices vary by distance and team or individual entry; fees are GST inclusive and rise by $10 on Wednesday 3 February at 12:00pm. Triathlon Australia membership is mandatory; one day memberships are available at specified costs for each distance.
Event logistics include emailed eTickets for kit collection, published wave start information during race week, managed road closures on Beach Road, and maintained resident access.
