2XU Triathlon Series Race 3
This event is Race 3 of the 2XU Triathlon Series at Trevor Barker Oval, Sandringham on Sunday 7 February 2027. The event includes multiple race categories with set distances and minimum ages. The race will host the 2027 AusTriathlon Age Group Team National Selection Race for the Standard Distance Triathlon.
Distances and minimum ages:
- Sprint: 750m / 20km / 5km, minimum age 15
- Olympic: 1.5km / 40km / 10km, minimum age 15
- Aqua Bike: 1.5km / 40km, minimum age 15
- Fun Tri: 250m / 8km / 3km, minimum age 12
- Tri Kids: 100m / 3km / 500m, ages 7–11
Event information and participant materials are provided electronically. Wave starts and race day information are published to participants in the week before the race; eTickets for kit collection are emailed the day before race week. E-guides are available for Sprint, Olympic, Aqua Bike, Fun Tri and Tri Kids categories.
Entry fees vary by category and include GST and booking fees. Triathlon Australia membership is mandatory; one-day memberships are available at specified rates for non-members. Road closures and managed course crossings will affect Beach Road and surrounding access during the event. Volunteer opportunities are listed for those interested.
