About the race
Xavier's Run Memorial 5K is a community 5K run and walk held in Ave Maria, Florida, centered at the Town Center (5068 Annunciation Cir., Ave Maria, FL 34142). The event is organized by Ave Maria Development and takes place on January 30, 2027. Participants follow a route through the residential communities of Ave Maria.
Proceeds from the event will support a memorial scholarship at Ave Maria University that will provide scholarships for students who exemplify faith and leadership. Registered participants receive a participation medal and a complimentary t-shirt if they sign up before January 20, 2027 at 12:01am. Awards are planned across age groups and for the individuals or teams that raise the most funds.
The event schedule includes a post-race gathering at The Bean with an optional brunch available via a wristband add-on. The Town Center also hosts the Taste of Ave event beginning at noon. Registration opens on November 21, 2026 at 00:01 and closes on January 29, 2027 at 23:59. Registration fees are $35 through January 29 and increase to $40 on race day.
