Wymondham AC 20 mile race takes place on 22 March 2026 in Wymondham, Norfolk. The event is part of the SPORTLINK Grand Prix Series and has race licence number 30448. The advertised distance is 20 mile with a minimum age of 18. Entry fees are £25 for affiliated runners and £27 for unaffiliated runners. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are allowed until 14 March 2026.
Course and facilities
The route is a two-lap course on quiet rural roads around the outskirts of Wymondham and nearby villages. The race starts at Wymondham Market Cross and finishes on Lady’s Lane. There are four water stations on the route, each passed twice because of the lap format. Race HQ is at Abbey Hall, Church Street (opposite Wymondham Abbey). Race numbers include timing chips and are collected at Race HQ on race day. There is no bag drop. Finish-line provision includes a medal, water and a snack.
Rules and on-course information
The event adheres to UKA rules; pacing is not permitted and may lead to disqualification. The race is held on open roads that are not closed to traffic; headphones of any kind are not permitted. Running with buggies or dogs is not allowed. Toilets are available at Abbey Hall, six portable toilets at Market Cross, public toilets at Market Street Car Park, and Gralix Hall has been requested to open at approximately 5.5 and 14 miles on the route.
