Wymondham AC 20 mile race
The Wymondham AC 20 mile race takes place on 22 March 2026 in Wymondham, Norfolk. The course is a two lap route on quiet rural roads that passes through nearby villages. The start is at the Market Cross in the town centre and the finish is on Lady's Lane. The event is licensed (30448) and is part of the SPORTLINK Grand Prix Series.
Race Headquarters is at Abbey Hall, Church Street, opposite Wymondham Abbey. Number collection is available at Race HQ where race numbers include timing chips. There are four water stations on the route, each passed twice because of the lapped course. A medal, water and a snack are provided at the finish.
The race adheres to UKA rules. In particular pacing is not permitted and runners judged to be pacing or being paced will be disqualified. Headphones of any kind are not permitted because sections of the course are on open roads. Running with buggies or dogs is not allowed.
Practical details: there is no bag drop, so competitors should only bring or wear what they will carry during the race. Limited toilets are available at Abbey Hall, with additional portable toilets at the Market Cross and public toilets at the Market Street Car Park; Gralix Hall has been requested to be available near the route. Entry fees are £25 affiliated and £27 unaffiliated. Entries are non refundable but transfers to another runner are permitted until 14 March 2026.
