Wye King Challenge 10k & Half Marathon : Wye, GB
The Wye King Challenge returns in 2026 with a new event HQ in Wye, located between Canterbury and Ashford. The event offers a choice of multi-terrain running options through valley scenery, country lanes and paths, and passes a chalk crown carved into the hillside for King Edward VII's 1902 coronation, which gives the event its name.

The venue is Wye Village Hall and Recreation Ground, Bridge Street, Wye, TN25 5EA. On-site facilities include toilets, refreshments and a small event village. After the race there are food and drink options available on site.
Entry fees differ by distance and affiliation. For the 10k advanced entries are £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated runners; on-the-day entry is £30 subject to space. For the half marathon advanced entries are £32 for affiliated club members and £34 for unaffiliated runners; on-the-day entry is £40 subject to space. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for both distances is 17 years on the day.
