WXPN 5k Run for Musicians On Call
This event offers in-person and virtual running and walking options to support Musicians On Call. In-person activity takes place at Penn Park in Philadelphia. Virtual participants may complete their distance anywhere between October 11 and October 18 and log their results.
Distances and options:
- 5K run - in-person at Penn Park or virtual
- 1 mile Funky Miler walk - in-person at Penn Park or virtual
Registration opens June 18 and closes July 2; fees vary by event. A finisher gift and a commemorative race shirt are offered. Student discounts are available; registrants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Strollers are not permitted except on the Funky Miler walking course. Dogs are not allowed.
The event includes fundraising components. Top fundraisers and the fastest runners at the Penn Park event will receive prizes and recognition.
