WW Military Miles
The WW Military Miles is an annual sporting event held in Keller, Texas. The 18th edition of the race features several distances to accommodate a variety of participants, with the start and finish lines located in front of the Keller City Hall Building. The event supports two charitable organizations: the Fisher House Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Participants can choose from several race distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- Untimed 5k (3.1 miles)
The Half Marathon includes a specific pace requirement; runners must maintain a minimum speed of 20 minutes per mile. Course monitors from Dallas Athletes Racing manage the track to ensure this requirement is met. For those unable to attend the physical event, virtual options for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon are available for participants within the continental United States.
All registered participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, specialized race socks, and a finisher medal. The race utilizes electronic timing, and performance-based awards are provided for overall winners and specific age groups. These awards are made available for pickup on-site once results are finalized, without the need to wait for a formal ceremony. In the event of inclement weather, the race director may delay the start or alter the course to ensure safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
