WSTC Triathlon Series Race 2
This is Race 2 of the Western Suburbs Triathlon Club series held on the Altona Beach foreshore. The event follows the standard triathlon order: swim, bike, then run. Run courses use the Altona foreshore path and the bike leg follows the full length of the Esplanade. The club rooms are in the same building as the Altona Surf Life Saving Club near the corner of the Esplanade and Pier Street. Registration and bib/timing chip collection take place in the club building.
Registration is available for pre-registered competitors and on-the-day entrants. On-the-day entries accept cash or card and require a completed waiver. Registration typically opens approximately one hour before the event to allow time to register and set up within transition. Race briefings generally start 15 minutes before the advertised commencement times and cover course details and safety information.
Event types and distances:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 18.75 km bike, 5 km run
