WSF Stride : Washougal Schools Foundation benefit event
WSF Stride is a community fundraising event that supports the Washougal Schools Foundation. It takes place at Washougal High School and uses nearby school grounds and neighborhood routes. The venue address is 1201 39th St, Washougal, WA 98671.
The program includes organized youth races and a 5K run/walk open to older students and adults. Youth races are run by grade level, from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Student runners assemble at a holding area in the WHS stadium parking lot before their race. Runners participate in a group warm-up at the starting area. Parents may watch from the stadium grandstands.
Student courses follow paths around Washougal High and Gause Elementary. High school athletes accompany younger runners to help guide and encourage them. There are adult volunteers positioned along the routes for safety and support. The 5K events run through Washougal neighborhoods.
Each run finishes at the WHS stadium. Finishers receive a bottle of water and a medal. Elementary students wait in a secured holding area until an adult picks them up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
