5k Beer Run - Deschutes & Backwoods
This event is a brewery run and walk held at Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House with participation from Backwoods Brewing in NW Portland, OR on December 12, 2026. It is part of the 2026 Oregon Brewery Running Series and is organized by Oregon Brewery Running Series®.
Participants follow a mapped 5K course that begins and ends at the taproom. The event schedule includes check in, a group warmup, and the 5K portion. All participants receive one craft brew at the finish line, a collector's seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, and a chance to win prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home.
A portion of proceeds from the series supports local nonprofits; to date the series reports over $500,000 raised. For this event specifically, 10% of proceeds will be donated to Oregon Wild. Registration is limited by taproom capacity and events in the series have sold out in the past.
