The Deschutes & Backwoods Brewing 5K is a 5K fun run and walk held on December 12, 2026, at Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House in NW Portland, OR. The course is approximately 5 kilometers and is mapped to start and finish at the taproom. Participants may run, walk or jog and return to the venue for a locally brewed beverage at the finish.
All participants receive one craft brew at the finish and a collector's seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, and there is a chance to win prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. The event is part of the 2026 Oregon Brewery Running Series; the series organizes over 300 events per year across more than 20 states. A portion of event proceeds supports local nonprofits; this event donates 10% to Oregon Wild and the series reports over $500,000 raised to date.
