Deschutes & Backwoods Brewing 5K
The Deschutes & Backwoods Brewing 5K is part of the 2026 Oregon Brewery Running Series. The in person event takes place at Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House and Backwoods Brewing in NW Portland, located at 210 Northwest 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209. It is open to all ages.
The route is a mapped 5k-ish course that starts and ends at the taproom. Participants may run, walk, or jog along the scenic local streets mapped for the event and return to the taproom at the finish.
All participants receive one craft brew at the finish from Deschutes Brewery and Backwoods Brewing and a collector's seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. The event also includes prize drawings offering items such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer.
The event is organized by Oregon Brewery Running Series. A portion of proceeds from the organizer's events supports local nonprofits; the organizer reports over $500k raised to date. For this event, 10% of proceeds will be donated to Oregon Wild.
