W!se 5K Fun Run/Walk WISE 2027
The W!se 5K Fun Run/Walk is a community race held in Astoria Park, Queens. The course is organized as three loops; the finish line is about 0.35 miles from the start. Registration is not yet open and the organizer offers a notification option for updates.
Amenities include an informal bag check area in the staging area, bathrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, and hydration provided at the finish line. High quality refreshments are provided by Nuun Hydration and WaterBoy. Live online, text, and email results are available, and finish line photos are provided free of charge. Personalized bibs are offered to participants who register three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to the top three overall in the male, female, and mixed categories, and there is an award for the fastest team with four scoring members.
Participants should check in with event staff by the start line to receive their bib. A self lookup area is available for those who do not know their bib number, and registrants within 24 hours of bib pickup may receive their bib number by text or via the bib lookup tool.
Proceeds benefit Working In Support of Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on financial literacy and college and career readiness for youth and at-risk adults.
