W!se 5K Fun Run/Walk WISE 2027
The W!se 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place in Astoria Park, Queens. The course is made up of three loops, with the finish line located about 0.35 miles from the start. Results are provided live via online, text, and email, and finish line photos and same-day video are available at no charge.
Event amenities include an informal bag check area in the staging zone, bathrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, and hydration at the finish. High quality refreshments are provided by Nuun Hydration and WaterBoy. Runners who register at least three weeks in advance (by May 14) are eligible for personalized bibs. A self lookup area will be available for participants who do not know their bib number; participants registering within 24 hours of bib pickup may receive their bib number by text shortly after registration.
Awards are presented to the top three overall in male, female, and nonbinary categories, and there is a fastest team award based on four scoring members. Public transportation access is available for Astoria Park. Proceeds benefit Working In Support of Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on financial literacy and college and career readiness for youth and at-risk adults.
