WS10 Parramatta
WS10 is a monthly 10 km running event staged at Parramatta Park as one of three Western Sydney locations. The Parramatta dates listed are 15 March, 14 June, 20 September and 20 December.
Participants meet at the course finish point near the Good George cafe, just inside the old Tudorhouse Gates on George Street. After a pre event briefing the group moves to the start point near the Noller Footbridge. The course finishes in front of the George Street gatehouse.
The route is entirely on sealed cycle and pedestrian paths that are suitable for pushing a pram and are resistant to adverse weather. The loop consists of three and a bit laps of the park circuit, with public toilet facilities at the start and finish and additional toilets on the course. Multiple drinking fountains are available around the loop.
There is usually ample parking within Parramatta Park and along the park road. Additional parking may be available in the council car park on O'Connell Street next to CommBank Stadium, with a short walk to the meeting point via the Noller Footbridge.
