About the race
WS10 Parramatta is the monthly 10 km running event held at Parramatta Park as part of a series across Western Sydney. The Parramatta edition takes place on the third Sunday of the month at the Parramatta Park course. Participants gather at the course finish point near the Good George cafe, just inside the old Tudorhouse Gates on George Street. After a pre-event briefing the group moves to the start near the Noller Footbridge.
The mapped route follows sealed cycle and pedestrian paths and comprises three and a bit laps of the park loop, finishing in front of the George Street gatehouse. Facilities at Parramatta Park commonly include ample parking within the park and additional spaces in the council car park on O'Connell Street. Public toilet facilities are available at the start/finish area and at points on the course. Multiple drinking fountains are located around the route.
The sealed paths are suitable for pushing a pram and are described as resistant to adverse weather. Registration for WS10 events is managed through the WS10 website; existing registered runners remain eligible and new runners register via the online form and email confirmation process.
