About the race
The Sydney Trail Series event at St Ives uses trails through the St Ives Wildflower Gardens and sections of Ku-ring-gai National Park. The course includes steep and technical trail sections and single-track running along Cowan Creek. The race hub is at St Ives Showground, where there is plenty of parking.

- 10 km
- 24 km
- 30 km (on one race date)
Aid stations are placed at regular intervals on each course:
- 7 km: 4 km
- 10 km: 4 km, 7 km
- 24 km: 4 km, 6 km, 12 km, 19 km, 21 km
- 30 km: 4 km, 6 km, 12 km, 19 km, 21 km, 25 km
A cut-off applies at Aid Station 2 (Warrimoo Trail / Timbarra Rd): a 3.5-hour cut-off for the 24 km course at 18.7 km and a 4.5-hour cut-off for the 30 km course at 24.7 km. A recovery station at the finish provides fruit, Tailwind Nutrition, water and a post-race breakfast including bacon and egg sandwiches. Presentation of prizes for the first three male and female finishers takes place after the race, and series prizes are awarded at the final race of the series to top cumulative times for series entrants.
