WRRC Twilight Series
The WRRC Twilight Series is a six race running series held in several different locations in Westminster, Maryland from May 28 to August 6, 2026. Events include track, trail, and road distances at different local venues.
Distances and dates
- May 28 - 2-mile track run at the old North Carroll High School Track
- June 11 - Hashawha 3-mile trail run
- June 25 - Run with the Knights 5K
- July 9 - FSK 6K
- July 23 - Pleasant Valley 4-mile
- August 6 - Runnymede 8K
Registration and fees are managed online only. Series prepaid fees are $25 for members and $60 for non members; individual race entries are $10. There are no race day or in-person signups. Registration for the series must be complete by May 28 for the first race; late series entries have a Wednesday before the second race deadline. Individual race entries must be completed by the Wednesday before that race. Club membership is rolling and lasts one year from the date joined.
Scoring and awards use a point system by gender and include age group categories. A participant must compete or volunteer in at least five of the six races to qualify for the premium. One off time run may be allowed for prepaid entrants if arranged with the race director prior to the race; that effort is scored after the last real finisher.
Each race will host a donation box for old running shoes. Series directors and individual race directors may delay, shorten, cancel, or reschedule races for dangerous weather or unsafe heat and humidity. Races will not start until 30 minutes after lightning is seen; if too late to start after the last lightning sighting, the race will be rescheduled or cancelled. If a race is cancelled the series will contain five races and only four will be needed for awards and premium eligibility. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
