Wrington Primary School PTA Fun Run 2026
The event is a community fun run organised by the Wrington School PTA at The Rec in Wrington, England. The course is a road route around the village of just under 5 km, described as mostly flat and taking place on public roads.
The run is open to all ages. Reception age children may take part when accompanied by an adult, and there is no upper age limit. The event is timed and prizes are planned for the fastest male and female in each age group, while the overall emphasis is on community participation and exercise outdoors.
Participants are asked to enter in advance online where possible; a limited number of entries will be available on the day at a higher cost. A risk assessment has been completed and organisers note that all runners take part at their own risk. Parts of the course are uneven with potholes and broken concrete, so caution is required while running.
The event is supported by The Club and Spa, Cadbury House, Congresbury. The PTA describes its role as raising additional funds for the school to pay for or subsidise items such as books, art materials, swimming lessons, clubs, sports and school trips.
