Wrexham Open 3K Fun Run
The Wrexham Open 3K Fun Run takes place on 19 October 2025 in Wrexham. The event is part of the ITF World Tennis Tour week running from 19 to 26 October and forms part of a Family Festival day at Ty Pawb. Every entrant receives a free ticket to watch the first qualifying round for the Lexus Wrexham Open at the Wrexham Tennis and Padel Court. The running distance is 3 km. The minimum age is 10 years; children aged 10 to 15 must run with an adult.
Course, logistics and on-site activities
The route takes in the centre of Wrexham and starts and finishes on Market Street. Roads on the course will be fully closed for the event; the race cut-off time is 60 minutes and roads will re-open in line with this pace. Race HQ is at Ty Pawb on Chester Street. Parking is a short walk from the start/finish and the town centre has multiple car parks. One water station will be provided at the finish/start area. Finishers receive a medal and event goodies.
On-site activities at Ty Pawb include a Total Fitness warm up and cool down zone, a Total Fitness activity zone, meet-and-greet opportunities with British players, face painting, tennis activities and skills, and a pop-up padel experience.
