Wrexham 10K
Wrexham 10K is a road running event held on 26 April 2026 with the race headquarters, start and finish located on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham. The course mixes town centre roads with a countryside section, offering a combination of faster sections and some small inclines. Roads on the route will be fully closed for the safety of runners and volunteers; spectators are asked to follow marshal instructions and remain off the course until runners have passed.
The event has a minimum age of 15 years and applies a 90 minute race cut off. Organisers plan one water station around the halfway point and additional water at the start and finish areas; runners are encouraged to carry a suitable bottle if they wish. Parking is available within a short walk of the start/finish, with multiple town centre car parks nearby. At the finish each participant receives a finisher medal and additional goodies. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus seven age group awards for both male and female categories. A help desk and music will be present at the race area.
