Wrexham 10K
The Wrexham 10K is a road closed race planned for 19 September 2027 and organised by Active Leisure Events Ltd. The start and finish are at Queensway Athletics Stadium within the Queensway Sports Complex, close to the city centre of Wrexham. The route passes into the surrounding Welsh countryside and is supported by on-course hydration, nutrition stations and medical cover.
Entries are available at tiered prices in GBP, with a special rate, a standard rate and a late entry rate. UK Athletics affiliated runners receive a £2 discount. The minimum age on race day is 15. The event is run under UK Athletics rules and the course is measured by the AUKCM.
Before race day participants receive a personalised race pack posted to them, with international entrants required to collect numbers from the Help Desk on race weekend. The event offers free official race photos, a complimentary technical T shirt, a bespoke finisher medal and a goody bag for finishers, or an optional Green Runner choice where the cost of these items is donated to the event charity and the runner’s number marks them as Green Runner.
Support before the event includes free training runs based in Chester, access to organiser social channels, and the option to transfer an entry to another runner subject to an administration fee and transfer deadlines. Refund Protect insurance can be selected during entry; race places are otherwise non refundable and not deferrable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
