Event Details
The Worthy 5k takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026. It is the fifth annual edition of the event. The starting location is the Arthur Teague Boat Launch, located at 3135 Arthur Ray Teague Parkway in Bossier City, Louisiana. The event supports Trail Life USA LA-2206.
Distances
The event includes two distances:
- Worthy 5k
- Worthy Fun Run, a half-mile event for participants aged 10 and under. This fun run is described as a "quarter mile out & back."
Registration
Early registration is available. The registration price for the 5k increases over time, from $20 to $35 by race day. Registration for the Fun Run is listed at $30. A technical shirt is included with registration, but specific sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after a certain date.
Race Information
Packet pickup details are to be announced, with an option for pickup on race morning at the site starting at 6:30 AM. Post-race snacks will be available. Prizes are awarded for first and second place, male and female, in the Fun Run and across several age categories for the 5k.
