The Festive Pines 5K takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Indianola, Iowa. The event location is 1400 Hillcrest Dr, Indianola, IA 50125. The race program includes the following distances:

Entry fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the Pine K. The 5K entry fee increases after October 31, 2025. Pine K registration closes on December 19, 2025. Shirts and finisher medals are only guaranteed for participants who register by December 1.
Course, amenities and charity
The course runs through the pine tree acreage at Walnut Ridge Tree Farm and includes sections with holiday lights. Both events begin together; Pine K participants split off and turn left around a pine tree field while 5K participants continue straight. Event attendees may find hot cocoa available for spectators. All participants receive a race-branded stocking cap and a Christmas ornament. A portion of race proceeds and any donations will be given to Helping Hand in Indianola, which provides food, clothing, household items, personal care products, and other basic needs.
