Workington 5K Series Race 3
Workington 5K Series Race 3 is a 5 km road race held at Workington Cricket Club, Earnest Valentine Ground, The Cloffocks, Workington on 22 July 2026. It is the third event in a four-race summer series held on 13 May, 10 June, 22 July and 19 August 2026.
The course is officially measured and certified accurate by the Association of UK Course Measurers and will be run on the route designated as ROUTE B. Race numbers are issued at on-site registration, and a full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be available at event headquarters in line with UKA rules. A safety briefing will be held before the race. First aid provision is arranged for the event. There will be a lead bike and a sweeper runner on the course.
Individual race prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers. Series points are allocated to all runners and end-of-series prizes are presented for overall finishers in five-year veteran age categories. Runners must complete three of the four races to qualify for overall series prizes. Results are provided by Timing Up North using chip timing.
