Event Overview
This is the third race in a summer series of four 5-kilometer runs. The event takes place at the Earnest Valentine Ground of the Workington Cricket Club.
Course and Timing
The course is a 5 km route that is officially measured and certified as accurate by the Association of UK Course Measurers. Runners should note that there is no parking available at the cricket club itself.
Registration and Details
Registration opens on 1 March 2026. On the day, race registration and number collection takes place at the cricket club. A race safety briefing is held just before the start.
Results and Prizes
Results are provided by Timing Up North using chip timing. Prizes are awarded after each individual race to the top three male and female finishers. For the overall series, points are allocated, and prizes are presented at the end to runners in veteran age categories; participants must complete three of the four races to qualify for these overall awards.
