Woodstock Freedom Run - July 4, 2026
The 29th Annual Woodstock Freedom Run takes place in Downtown Woodstock with a new course and a new gathering area at the Arts Green Space on Market Street. The start and finish line are located on Market Street in front of the stage at the Green Space.
The event features multiple distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1K
- Tot Trot for young children
All preregistered entrants are guaranteed a short sleeved event t-shirt. Free fruit and water are provided on site, and registrants are eligible for a prize drawing. Packet pickup and late registration occur at the Green Space on race day. Most parking is available in the new parking deck on Main Street.
Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female winners, overall masters male and female winners, and the top three finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and older. The 1K and Tot Trot award ribbons to all finishers.
Entry fees vary by registration date. Fee tiers are published for the 5K, 10K, 1K and Tot Trot with higher fees closer to race day and a separate race day price. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
