Woods Park Twilight Runs - 4th Annual
Woods Park Twilight Runs is a community running event held at Woods Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event is presented by Lincoln Track Club, INK ALLEY, FLEET FEET LINCOLN, Lincoln Running Company, The Corner Kitchen, and El Tejano Style. Organizers hope to support the Lincoln Food Bank with food donations.
Racing takes place on a multi-lap loop course run cross country style on grass. The course is described as flat and smooth enough for faster paces while still offering enough terrain to be interesting. Runners are asked to stay to the right except to pass, since participants may be lapped on the multi-loop 5k.
All on-time registrants will receive gloves in youth and adult sizes and a drink koozy. Extras may be ordered but there is no guarantee of race swag after the listed date. Packet pickup is available on race day at the shelter near the playground. Awards are to be determined and will be posted when available.
Food trucks will be available after the run, including Korner Kitchen and ChiStyle Trucks. The event will be cancelled only for severe inclement weather such as lightning. There are no refunds for cancellation due to weather.
