Woods Park Twilight Runs - 4th Annual
Woods Park Twilight Runs is a community running event taking place at Woods Park in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 24, 2026. The event is presented by Lincoln Track Club, INK ALLEY, FLEET FEET LINCOLN, LINCOLN RUNNING COMPANY, THE CORNER KITCHEN, and El Tejano Style. Organizers hope to support the Lincoln Food Bank through food donations.
Racing is held on grass in a cross country style with multiple laps of the same loop course. The event includes separate race options and a youth race that use the same loop layout. Runners should expect to encounter other competitors on the course; participants are asked to stay to the right except to pass.
All on-time registrants receive gloves in youth and adult sizes and a drink koozy. Extras may be ordered but are not guaranteed after the listed cutoff. Packet pickup is available on race day at the shelter near the playground. Awards are to be determined and will be posted when available.
Parking is available in multiple nearby lots including the lot south of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health building, lots west and south of Kiwanis ball field, and the lot east of the Woods tennis and pool. Street parking is available on Rogers Memorial Drive with posted no parking signs to observe; attendees are asked to avoid parking in the neighborhood west of Woods Park.
