Woods Park Twilight Runs - 4th Annual
Woods Park Twilight Runs is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at Woods Park in Lincoln, NE. The event is community centered and staged as a cross-country style event on grass with multiple laps of the same looped course. Participants are asked to keep right except to pass, since runners may be lapped on the multi-loop layout.

- Wild Things (12 and under): 1 Mile
- 5K for all ages and paces
Organizers note that the date is subject to change based on the yet-to-be-announced 2026 Nebraska Football schedule. The event is presented by Lincoln Track Club, INK ALLEY, FLEET FEET LINCOLN, LINCOLN RUNNING COMPANY, THE CORNER KITCHEN, and El Tejano Style. The organizers hope to support the Lincoln Food Bank with food donations; details will be provided later.
Fee structure includes early and regular registration tiers; early registrants were guaranteed race gloves and a koozie while later registrants were not guaranteed items. Packet pickup is race-day only at the shelter near the playground. Parking is available in multiple nearby lots and on surrounding streets; attendees are asked to avoid parking in the neighborhood west of Woods Park. Awards are to be determined. Food trucks Korner Kitchen and ChiStyle will be available after the run. The event will be cancelled only for severe inclement weather such as lightning; there are no refunds for weather cancellations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
