About the race
The Santa Fun Run/Walk in Lincoln is an untimed 2-mile loop held on 12/12/2026 in the Railyard of Lincoln (350 Canopy St., Lincoln, NE 68508). The course runs on streets and trails around downtown, crosses the Pinnacle Bank pedestrian bridges, goes around Haymarket Park, and finishes at the start of the Winter Market. Registration includes a Santa suit (subject to availability), one entry into the Winter Market, a cup of hot cocoa, and a cookie. Santa suits are available in two options, Child and Adult; each set includes a red Santa hat, red jacket, black belt, red pants, and white beard made from non-woven fabrics.
Given dimensions are provided for jacket, sleeve, shoulder, and pant lengths for both sizes. Suits are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis; if suits are unavailable participants may wear their own Santa costume or other festive apparel. Packet pickup is offered on the day before the event at Fleet Feet Lincoln and on the event day in the Railyard. Day-of registration is available but does not guarantee a provided suit.
Free parking is available in downtown parking garages; attendees are asked to avoid parking directly in front of businesses that are open the morning of the event. The event is explicitly described as a fun run/walk and not a race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
