Event
The Woodbury Lakes Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Woodbury, MN. The event includes three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k Run
- 5k Run
All races start and finish at Colby Lake Park, 9715 Valley Creek Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125. The course routes use paved trails around four lakes in Woodbury.
Logistics and race details
The course has many turns and several road crossings that may not have crossing guards. The half marathon course is not certified; organizers measured it to 13.11 miles. Course support is minimal: water will be provided at a limited number of stations and runners are advised to carry their own nutrition. Tentative water station locations are listed for the half marathon and 10k; there are no aid stations on the 5k course, but water and light snacks will be available at the finish area.
Timing is chip-based and gun timed with a group start. Each runner must wear a visible bib. Every half marathon finisher will receive a 3 inch wooden medallion. Overall male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given in each event; there are no age group awards.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Powers Lake, 10000 Brookview Road, Woodbury, MN. Parking is available in two Colby Lake Park lots or at Valley Crossing Elementary School as an alternate. Day-of registration is cashless and requires a cell phone. Organizers may cancel or delay the event for inclement weather; there are no refunds.
