Woodbury Lakes Half Marathon : event summary
The Woodbury Lakes Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury, Minnesota. The event includes three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k Run
- 5k Run
The course uses paved trails that connect four local lakes. Organizers note the route contains many turns and several road crossings that will not have crossing guards; roads remain open to traffic. The course is not certified; it was measured with a measuring wheel to about 13.11 miles and similarly by three mapping tools.
Support on course will be limited. Organizers plan minimal aid, mainly water at a small number of stations, and recommend participants carry their own nutrition. Every half marathon finisher will receive a 3 inch wooden medallion. Overall male and female first through third place winners will be awarded in each event; there will be no age group awards.
Packet pickup is available before race day at Powers Lake, 10000 Brookview Road, Woodbury. Day of registration is cashless and requires a cell phone and a RunSignup account. Timing is gun timed with chips and results will be posted on the event RunSignup page. Spectator viewing locations are listed for multiple points along the route.
