Womp Romp

Womp Romp is a trail race in Hingham, Massachusetts at Wompatuck State Park. A community-driven, volunteer-powered event, it offers two distances: a 10-mile loop and a 50K three-loop course (plus a mile). The route blends single-track, wide trails, and pavement, with about 2 miles of pavement per loop.

The cupless event uses three aid stations per loop, stocked by volunteers with water and snacks. Perks include a long-sleeve tech shirt for early registrants, a 10-mile patch, and a 50K finisher mug. Proceeds benefit Friends of Wompatuck and Free to Run, supporting the park and women's wellness.
