Ultra Trails - Wold Rangers Way Ultra
The Wold Rangers Way Ultra is a 50 km circular trail running event hosted in East Yorkshire. The course begins and ends at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe, Driffield. The route primarily follows the Wold Rangers Way, leading participants through the dry valleys and landscapes characteristic of the Yorkshire Wolds.
The course passes through several local villages, including Huggate, Fridaythorpe, Thixendale, Fimber, and Wetwang. For navigation, the organizer provides a GPX file and uses yellow tape and large yellow correx signs at major junctions. Participants are also tracked via GPS with live timing and splits available online.
The event includes four indoor checkpoints equipped with toilet facilities. These stations offer vegan-friendly and gluten-free nutrition, and the main checkpoint provides tea and coffee. Runners have the option of using a non-returnable food drop-bag at the primary station.
