Wolcottville Sign Project 5K Fun Run/Walk & 1 Mile Dash
This community event raises funds for a new town entrance sign in Wolcottville. It takes place at Field Of Dreams Park, 2323 E. 1150 N., Wolcottville, Indiana, and includes two race distances.
- 1 Mile for ages 13 and under.
- 5K open to all ages, awards for top finishers.
Both races are professionally timed. The 1 Mile participants each receive a participation medal; additional awards are given to top finishers in the 1 Mile and the 5K. The course is police approved and was redesigned with runner safety as a priority. The route is clearly marked and led by a four wheeler, and it passes through shaded areas including the Railroad Trail, Taylor Park, historic downtown Wolcottville, and a tree-lined section near the historic cemetery. A water station is available along the course.
Registration fees are listed as $20 for the 1 Mile and $25 for the 5K, with race day registration available at an increased price. Shirts must be ordered by August 19 and extras may be available while supplies last. Proceeds support the Wolcottville Sign Project and other community improvements.
