Woking Autumn Triathlon and Junior Aquathlon
The event takes place at Woking Leisure Centre and Woking Park in Woking, GU22 9BA. Competition swim sessions use the six lane pool with a viewing gallery. Swim starts follow a snake style format; swims longer than 300 m begin with 150 m in lane 1 then snake to the end of the pool. Entrants provide an estimated swim time to seed the start order.
The bike course leaves the leisure centre and follows an open-road circuit between Mayford and Jacobs Well. SuperSprint competitors complete one lap and Sprint competitors complete two laps. The course is mostly flat with a few short inclines.
The run takes place inside Woking Park on a lapped route. The surface is about 80% tarmac and 20% hard packed trail, passing through the park center multiple times. Junior aquathlon participants use variations of the same route.
Available race types include:
- Sprint Triathlon - 400m swim, 20.6 km bike, 5 km run (age 15+)
- Sprint Triathlon Relay - 400m swim, 20.6 km bike, 5 km run (teams of 2 or 3, age 15+)
- SuperSprint Triathlon - 200m swim, 13.6 km bike, 3.3 km run (age 15+)
- Adult Aquathlon - 400m swim, 5 km run (age 15+)
- Junior Aquathlon - age 8 to 16
