Event
The Burnham Beeches Half Marathon and 10K takes place on 9 August 2026 in Burnham Beeches, South Bucks, with Race HQ at Caldicott School, Crown Lane, Farnham Royal (SL2 3SL). The event offers two distances:
- 13.1 miles (half marathon)
- 10 km
Both races use a mix of closed roads and hard-surfaced paths through the ancient woodland of Burnham Beeches. 2026 is the 45th running and the course will be run in reverse (clockwise). There will be no finisher shirt; finishers receive a commemorative medal that forms part of an interlinking set with the Beaconsfield 5 and Cliveden Classic.
Practical information
Entries include an early bird discount of 10% if booked before 31 March 2026; registration closes 7 August 2026. Runners must be at least 18 years old on race day. The races are unsuitable for wheelchairs and no runners may be accompanied by a cyclist, pushchair or dog. The usual EA race rules apply and only approved bone-conducting headphones are permitted.
There will be three water stations on course. The race village has taps for filling bottles before and after the event; organisers aim to minimise single-use plastics and recommend runners bring their own bottles. The half marathon has a cut-off time of 3 hours; runners still on course after this time continue at their own risk. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall and to the top veteran in V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories for both men and women in each distance. Parking and visitor car parks are pay and display; main car park is near Hawthorn Lane and Crow Piece Lane. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
