Event overview
The Burnham Beeches event is staged by Burnham Joggers Running Club as two road/park races: a half marathon and a 10K. The races take place in Burnham Beeches, a wooded area described as ancient woodland. The course is run as a two-lap route through shaded woodland. The 2026 race date is 9 August 2026 and entries for that year open in November 2025. Results and event photos are published for past editions.

Course and history
The first Burnham Beeches Half Marathon was held on 9 September 1980 as an off-road race on the Portman Estate and included on-course obstacles such as stiles. The race headquarters moved the following year to Caldicott School with a course through and around Burnham Beeches. Although the course has changed at times, the modern event follows the same format and now has a course measurement certificate.
