Burnham Beeches Half Marathon & 10K 2027
The event on 8 August 2027 at Crown Lane, Farnham Royal (Slough) offers two distances on a mix of closed roads and hard-surfaced paths through the Burnham Beeches ancient woodland. The event is organised by Burnham Joggers and carries an EA Licence number listed as TBC. This is the 46th running and the course will be run in the reverse (clockwise) direction.

The organisers are minimising the use of plastics and ask runners to bring their own water bottles; taps will be available in the race village before and after the event. There will be three water stations on the course supplying water from cups and jugs suitable for refilling bottles. There will be no finisher shirt this year; finishers will receive a commemorative medal that is part of an interlinking set including other local races.
Entry and rules notes: runners must be at least 18 on race day; the races are unsuitable for wheelchairs and no runners may be accompanied by cyclists, pushchairs, or dogs. The usual EA race rules apply and only approved bone-conducting headphones are permitted. The Half Marathon has a 3-hour on-course cut-off after which remaining runners continue at their own risk.
A runner can only take one trophy. Trophies are awarded by overall position including Non-Binary, and by age-category winners from 40-49 up to 70+. VIP parking is available for an additional fee while spaces last. The organisers cannot offer pool access this year. If the event is cancelled the entry fee is non-refundable; deferrals to 2028 are not accepted, though transfers to other Burnham Joggers races in 2027 may be considered.
