Polar Bear Run - 2027
The Polar Bear Run takes place on January 30, 2027 in Fergus and Elora, Ontario, with the event base listed at 35 Farley Road, Fergus. Races follow local trails that run along the Grand River and through the forests around Elora and Fergus. The terrain includes snow-covered and icy trail sections with winding paths and varied winter surfaces.

Race services and finish amenities include a participant T-shirt, chip timing for results, a finisher medal, post-race coffee, tea and hot chocolate, prizes and snacks. An award ceremony lists medals for each participant, a "The Polar Bear" trophy for the fastest male and female, and additional prizes. Parking is noted at 35 Farley Road at Grace Christian Fellowship. Map routes are indicated as coming soon.
The event is family friendly and is organized as a fundraiser for Servant's Heart Ministry. All proceeds are designated for the ministry, which has a stated fundraising goal of CA$35,000 to purchase a dedicated food delivery truck to support local food and clothing assistance programs.
