Event details
The Polar Bear Run takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Centre Wellington, Ontario (Elora and Fergus). The event uses local trails and sections along the Grand River and is presented as trail runs and a trail run/walk in winter conditions.

- 10K Trail Run
- 5K Trail Run
- 3K Trail Run/Walk
Participants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Medals are listed for each participant and "The Polar Trophy" is awarded to the fastest male and female. The event also includes additional prizes, snacks, and post-race coffee. Registration uses tiered pricing with early, regular, and late rates for each distance.
Purpose and partners
All proceeds support Grace Christian Fellowship's Mission Immersion Program (MIP). MIP is described as a youth development and mission program that prepares teenagers for international engagement. The program completed a mission to Panama in 2024 and plans further work with the Ngäbe people in Panama and Costa Rica in 2026.
