Wirral Seaside Run Series
The Seaside Race 3 is part of the Wirral Seaside Runs, a series of six coastal events organized by Pensby Runners. This specific race takes place in May and follows a 5 km path along the coastline. The series has been a regular fixture on the Merseyside running scene for over 30 years and consists of events held on the last Wednesday of each month from March through August.
The course is flat and follows a linear route along the sea embankment. The start is located near Leasowe Lighthouse in Moreton. Participants run along the embankment to the finish line at Harrison Drive, situated close to the Lifeguard Station. Because the event follows a point-to-point format, participants often choose to run back to the starting car park after finishing or arrange for separate transport at the finish line.
Registration and race number collection occur on the day of the event at the registration desk located at Leasowe Lighthouse. Participants who plan to compete in multiple events in the series are advised to keep their race number, as the same number is used for future entries in the seaside races.

The event is open to individuals aged 11 and over. Members of UK Athletics (UKA) are eligible for a discount on entry fees.
