Run For The 97 5K

Run For The 97 5K is a community-based legacy event held in 2026 as the 12th running of the 97/5K. The event remembers the 97 people who lost their lives at Hillsborough stadium in 1989 and also acknowledges those who survived that day.

The event supports local charitable work and promotes the activities of community organisations, including the LFC Foundation, 23 Foundation and Junior Parkrun. It takes place on the last Saturday of the Premier League football season and offers participants exclusive use of Stanley Park.
