ABWR Happy Halloween 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon in Long Beach
This event takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, along the Long Beach path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. The course is an open beach path shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists and will be marked with out and back loops. Participants are asked to be courteous to other path users.
Distances offered include:
- 5k out and back on the beach path.
- 10k two 5k loops on the same course.
- 15k three 5k loops on the beach path.
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops.
An aid station at the turnaround/start finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. The event includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos, an assortment of snacks and samples, and results posted on the event website within 12 to 24 hours.
Registration is available through PayPal or Active.com, with different pricing tiers for early bird, race month, and race day. There is no refund policy; transfers are allowed by request. Volunteers may receive a free race entry. Parking is free in the residential area; the beach parking lot accepts payment at a machine or via the Passport Parking app, zone 9372.
