Happy Halloween 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon : Long Beach, October 31, 2026
A Better World Running organizes the Happy Halloween races on the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA. The event takes place on October 31, 2026 and uses an open beach path; participants should be courteous to pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
The course is marked and uses out and back loops on the beach path. Specific loop formats are provided for each distance. An aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels.
Distances offered:
- 5k
- 10k (two 5k loops)
- 15k (three 5k loops)
- Half marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free videos, live results, free photos located by bib, and additional digital features through the event app. Race day registration accepts credit card, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal with listed prices of 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45, and half marathon $50. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit. Transfers are allowed by contacting the organizer; there is a no refund policy.
