Happy Halloween 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach
The Happy Halloween event takes place Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Belmont Shores on the Long Beach beach path. The course is an open, marked route consisting of out-and-back loops on the beach path; participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit. Results are posted on the event website within 12 to 24 hours and race photos are provided free of charge.
Registration is available through Active.com and PayPal; PayPal registrations receive a confirmation email within 12 hours. Transfers are permitted by request and the event has a no refund policy. Volunteer opportunities can provide a free race entry.
Location details indicate check-in at the tables closest to 54th Place at the start of the beach path, address 5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803. Parking is free in the residential area; a nearby beach parking lot charges by ticket machine.
