Monster Dash Long Beach, October 24, 2026
The Monster Dash is a running event held in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, at the beach path near 54th Place and East Ocean Boulevard. The course uses the paved beach path and is an open course; participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
The route is composed of marked out-and-back loops on the beach path. An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. Course formats are described as follows:
- 5k out-and-back loop
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36-mile loops
Registration is available through PayPal or Active.com; registrants should use only one registration method. Pricing varies by time of registration, with early bird, race month, and race day rates listed for each distance. Race day payment methods include cash and common mobile options.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos, postrace results posted within 12–24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Group discounts are offered for five or more participants by contacting the organizer. Transfers and race-entry changes are handled by contacting the organizer; there is a no-refund policy.
