Haunted Heroes 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach, CA
The Haunted Heroes event takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Belmont Shores, Long Beach. The event is Halloween themed and family friendly. Check in is at the tables closest to 54th Place at the start of the beach path, 5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803.
The course is an open beach path route with marked out and back loops. Runners should be courteous to pedestrians, other runners, and cyclists. An aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Free race photos are provided and results are posted on the event website within 12 to 24 hours.
Registration benefits listed by the organizer include custom finisher medals, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos, an assortment of snacks and samples, and posted results. Transfers are allowed by request; there is a no refund policy. Volunteers may receive a free race entry. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; an early start may be available by request.
