Hot Pursuit 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
The event takes place in Belmont Shores, Long Beach on September 26, 2026, on the beach path. The course is an open, marked route with out-and-back loops. Participants should be courteous to pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the path.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back on the beach path
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Course maps are provided by the organizer. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; an early start is available by request to the organizer.
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos, posted results within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Group discounts are available for five or more participants. Transfers are permitted by contacting the organizer; there is a no refund policy.

Parking is free in nearby residential areas; a paid beach lot is available with ticket machines or a parking app (zone 9372). The event is managed by A Better World Running LLC.
