Lucky Eight 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach
The Lucky Eight event offers multiple distances on the Long Beach beach path in Belmont Shores. The course uses marked out and back loops on the beach path and includes a turnaround aid station stocked with water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Course maps are provided for the 5k and half marathon loops.
Distances:
- 5k out and back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos, posted results within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Pricing varies by registration period and distance, with different early bird, race month, and race day rates. Transfers are allowed only through the organizer and there is a no refund policy. Group discounts are available for teams of five or more; contact the organizer for details. Volunteering can be exchanged for a free race entry, subject to organizer confirmation.
