The IQ FIBER Winter Beach Run takes place at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach, Florida on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The event is hosted by JTC Running and 1st Place Sports. Races are held on firmly packed sand near low tide and use an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at the Seawalk Pavilion. Distances offered:

• 10 Mile
• 5K

Logistics and race details

The 5K turns around at the 1.55 mile mark. The 10 Mile course goes out 2.5 miles and back, then repeats the same 5K section. Medals are given to all 10 Mile and 5K finishers. All entrants receive long-sleeve moisture wicking shirts. Overall and age-group awards are given for both distances; the 5K includes a 10 and under division while the 10 Mile does not. The 10 Mile is part of the Jacksonville Grand Prix for eligible age groups; the 5K serves younger age groups.

Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports locations in the days before the race and packets are moved to the race site for race day pickup beginning 90 minutes before the event. There is a 2.5 hour time limit for the 10 Mile, which requires maintaining about a 15 minute per mile pace. Bikes and dogs are not allowed on the course. A $2 discount is available for current JTC Running members with the code JTCRUNNING; the discount is not valid on race day. Parking is available in a large lot west of the Seawalk Pavilion; later arrivals may need to park farther away. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
