Event
The IQ FIBER Winter Beach Run takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The event offers two distances:
- 10 Mile
- 5K
Race information
Both races are held on firmly packed sand near low tide on an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at the Seawalk Pavilion. The 5K turns around at the 1.55 mile mark. The 10 Mile course includes a 2.5-mile out-and-back segment and then follows the same 5K out-and-back portion. Medals are provided to all finishers, and all entrants receive long-sleeve moisture-wicking shirts. Overall and age-group awards are given for both the 5K and 10 Mile; the 10 Mile is a Jacksonville Grand Prix race for age groups except under-13, while the 5K serves as the Grand Prix race for younger age groups.
Packet pickup is available at select 1st Place Sports store locations prior to race day; remaining packets are moved to the race site for pickup beginning 90 minutes before the event. There is a 2.5 hour time limit for the 10 Mile, which requires maintaining a 15-minute-per-mile pace. Bikes and dogs are not allowed on the course. Hot chocolate and snacks are provided at the Seawalk Pavilion after the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
