Windy Hill

Windy Hill is a challenging winter running event set in the scenic landscape above Saddleworth. Participants will embark on a 12-mile course with a 2100 feet ascent, starting and finishing at the Rams Head Inn. The route includes a traverse along the Pennine Way and culminates at Windy Hill, where runners can enjoy free hot soup post-race.

To ensure safety, full FRA kit is mandatory, including waterproof clothing, a map, and emergency supplies. The event has a limit of 300 participants, with entry fees varying for affiliated and non-affiliated runners. Registration opens in June 2024.
