Windfall Full Moon Trail Run
The Windfall Full Moon Trail Run is a night trail event at Windfall Ranch near Alpine, California, held on 08/28/26. The event uses private trails that are accessible only during Epic Recess events.
Reflectors and reflective markers will mark four distance options. The course layout includes a 5k loop and a 10k loop; running both loops yields a 15k distance, and completing those twice yields a 30k distance. Trails are mostly single track with ups, downs, and some technical footing that can be more difficult in low light. Headlamps or flashlights are required for all participants.

Aid stations on the course will be reflective and lit for visibility. Stations will be stocked with fluids, fruit, and snacks; water and sodas will be available after the event. T-shirts will be distributed with bib pickup, and completion items and division awards will be given at the finish.
Camping is available on site in the large open fields of the ranch. Porta-potties and water will be provided. Dogs must be leashed at all times because ranch dogs roam freely.
