Wind in the Pillows
Wind in the Pillows is a two day running event held at the Premier Inn beside Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. Races are lap based on a lake circuit, with route descriptions issued at the event location. Mandatory race briefings are held ten minutes before each race. Registration details and the course maps are provided on site.
Distances:
- Marathon: 7½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (50k option)
- Half Marathon: 3½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake
Race administration follows 100 Marathon Club rules. There is a hard time limit of 7:00 hours for each marathon; runners finishing after this will be recorded as DNF. The half marathon has a 4:00 hour limit. All finishers receive a unique bespoke medal.
Support on the course includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, water and toilets on every lap, and a large pub car park at the venue. Participants are expected to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Entry fees are stated as £39.99 for each marathon and £36.99 for each half marathon. The organiser does not offer refunds. Entries can be deferred up to seven days before the event and transferred to another open Enigma Running event; deferred entries must be used within 18 months.
