Wiltshire 10
The Wiltshire 10 is a 10 mile running event held on 08 Feb 2026. The route starts and finishes at King George V Playing Field in Melksham and leads out to the village of Lacock. The event provides medals for all finishers and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, plus age-category prizes for V40, V50, V60 and V70 competitors.
Facilities at the venue include toilets and refreshments for purchase. There are two water stations located at about 3.5 miles and 7 miles. First aid cover is provided and the event is fully insured.
Location and logistics note the event base as Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club, King George V Playing Field, Melksham SN12 7ED. There is no parking at the canoe club; several council car parks are available in Melksham. Registration is held at the canoe club where race numbers are issued; race numbers should be secured to the front of the competitor’s top and be clearly visible at the finish.
Entry information lists fees of £26.00 for affiliated runners and £28.00 for unattached runners aged 16 and over. Merchandise items include a buff, bib clips and a mug available for collection on race day. Total places were limited to 68 and the event status is closed.
Restrictions state all runners must be aged 16 or over, no dogs are allowed, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and headphones including bone conduction devices are not permitted.
