Wiltshire 10, Melksham, 14 February 2027
The Wiltshire 10 is a 10 mile road race that starts and finishes at King George V Playing Field, located at the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club in Melksham SN12 7ED. The route leads out from Melksham to the village of Lacock and is measured to UKA standards.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. All finishers receive a medal.
Facilities at the venue include toilets and refreshments for purchase. Two water stations are provided, listed at 3.5 miles and 7 miles. First aid cover is in place and the event is fully insured.
Restrictions note that all runners must be aged 16 or over on race day. No roads will be closed for the event. Dogs are not permitted. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Headphones including bone conduction devices are not allowed. Entries close on 1 January 2027 or earlier if the race limit is reached and there are no entries available on the day.
Practical details include a total entry limit of 300 places, no parking at the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club, and several council car parks in Melksham.
