Wiltshire 10
The Wiltshire 10 is a 10 mile road race held on 14 February 2027 that starts and finishes at King George V Playing Field in Melksham. The route leads out to the village of Lacock. The course is measured to UKA standards.
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third places in male and female categories, with veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. All finishers receive a medal.
Event facilities include toilets, refreshments for purchase, two water stations located at approximately 3.5 miles and 7 miles, first aid cover and public liability insurance. Registration takes place at the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club at King George V Playing Field where competitors collect race numbers; numbers must be secured to the front of the running top and clearly visible at the finish.
There is no parking at the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club; council car parks in Melksham are available. The organisers state that no roads will be closed for the race. Restrictions include a minimum age of 16 on race day, no dogs, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and headphones or bone conduction headphones are not permitted. Entry is limited to a total of 300 places and entries close on 1 January 2027 or earlier if the limit is reached. Entry fees are shown as £27 for affiliated runners and £29 for unattached runners aged 16 and over. Merchandise is available for purchase for collection on race day.
