Wiltondale Neighborhood 5K and Fun Run
The Wiltondale Neighborhood 5K and Fun Run in Towson, Maryland, is an annual community road race held to benefit the ongoing care and maintenance of the playground equipment and park space in Greenwood Park. The course is a single-lap circuit through the Wiltondale neighborhood that includes several turns and a few hills. The event start and finish are located in the Wiltondale Pool parking lot at 800 Sussex Road, Towson MD 21286.
All participants receive a unisex Tri-Blend tee and a race bib. The event is officially timed by Maryland Timing Event Services. Water and light refreshments will be available, and post-race cash prizes of $10 are awarded to the first-place male and first-place female in each age group: 12 and under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over. The registration fee is $35 per person. Packet pick-up is organized the day before at the Wiltondale Pool parking lot and there is additional packet pick-up on race day.
Registration fees are non-refundable. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine but may be delayed or canceled if lightning occurs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
