Wilson Oktoberfest 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run
The Wilson Oktoberfest 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run is the inaugural race held during the St. Florian Oktoberfest on October 3, 2026, in St. Florian, Alabama. The event includes two distances and is presented by Wilson Cross Country and Track and Field. All proceeds benefit the Wilson Cross Country and Track and Field programs to support equipment, uniforms, travel, and other resources for student-athletes.
The 5K is chip timed with professional timing provided by Race Ready; finisher emails are sent to 5K participants within 24 hours. Registration fees are listed for each distance and include an official event t-shirt and a custom finisher medal; 5K registration also includes awards eligibility and chip timing.
Awards are presented after the races. 5K awards include overall male and female and the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, and 71 and up. The 1-Mile Fun Run awards the top three finishers.
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the event at St. Florian Town Hall, and race-day packet pickup is available for participants who did not pick up in advance.
