Wilmslow Running Festival
Wilmslow Running Festival is an annual road running event scheduled for Sunday 21st March 2027. The festival stages multiple races and community-focused activities, and it operates as a charity that distributes income to local community groups and works with chosen charity partners.
Race options include:
- Half Marathon, sponsored by Asics
- 10K, sponsored by Asics
- 2.5K Fun Run, sponsored by Running Bear
The Langricks Team Challenge is available within both the Half Marathon and the 10K. The festival’s 2027 charity partner is The UK Sepsis Trust. The event has worked with other partners in the past, for example David Lewis Centre in 2026, and reports that over the last 30 years it has raised more than £1.5 million for charities and community causes.
The organisers publish practical race information such as race maps, number pick up details, course records and results. Photographs and official results from 2026 are available from the event organisers. The festival also partners with SkootEco to help runners offset their race day carbon footprint through tree planting and removal of ocean-bound plastic.
