Wilmington Marathon - Beach to Boardwalk
The Wilmington Marathon weekend is a multi-event race that runs along the Cape Fear coast in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Organizers describe the courses as flat and point to point, with the full marathon beginning in Wrightsville Beach and finishing downtown Wilmington. The back half of the marathon passes near Greenfield Lake. The event roster includes road races, virtual options, duo team and charity entry categories, and a free kids glow mile supporting a healthy kids initiative.
For the 2026 edition, the official site lists the full and half marathons as sold out.
