Wilmington Marathon
The Wilmington Marathon is a multi-race event in Wilmington, North Carolina, held on February 27, 2027. The event features a coastal point-to-point course that spans the Cape Fear Coast between Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington. For 2027 the full marathon start is on the UNCW campus, and the back half of the full marathon runs through Greenfield Lake. The half marathon follows a fast, flat route from the UNCW campus toward the Cape Fear River.
Organizers describe the courses as fast, flat, and scenic. Course maps, past results, and photos are published for reference, and RaceJoy live tracking is available for participants. The event includes on-site services commonly found at race weekends such as packet pickup and volunteer support. Official race apparel and merchandise are offered through the event’s apparel partner.
