The Candy Cane Course - St. Paul is a holiday-themed running event held on December 6, 2025, at Lake Elmo Park, 2812 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042. The event offers multiple distance options:

The 5k and 12k use chip timing with live results and award age-group prizes. Age-group awards for the 5k and 12k include overall male and female, masters (40+), and top three male and female in standard age brackets from 10 & under through 80+. The Kids Dash, 1 Mile, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards. Course maps are provided for the 5k and 12k and an interactive map is available; the course may change due to permit or volunteer restrictions.
Registration and logistics
Listed entry fees start at $25.98 and go up to $48.28, including a $4.28 fee; youth pricing for the 5k/12k is listed at $22 for ages 12 and under. Registration packages vary by event: the 5k/12k include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal; the 1 Mile and Kids Dash include event-specific bibs and shirts. Virtual registrations include a digital bib, shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping (packets ship the Wednesday after the race). Packet pickup is available on race day and registration requires advance deadlines to guarantee a shirt. The event operates rain, shine, snow, or cold and follows a strict no-refund policy; if the venue cancels or roads are unsafe, entries may be converted to virtual.
