Will Run for Pie - Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Will Run for Pie Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Salisbury, Massachusetts. The course is an out-and-back on the Salisbury Ghost Trail with a short detour through quiet neighborhoods; the route is described as flat and fast. There is a water stop located just before the two-mile mark. The event starts and finishes at the Ghost Trail (off Rabbit Road) with pre- and post-race activities at Winner's Circle Sports Bar, 211 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA 01952.
Timing is chip-based with live results provided by iResults. Early bib pickup is available on Wednesday, November 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Winner's Circle Sports Bar. Registration options include pre-registration, group discounts (three or more runners receive $5.00 off per person), an under-18 discount of $5.00, and race-day registration at a higher price. Swag is guaranteed for the first 350 entrants.
Awards include large festive pies for overall winners, division prizes for kids and adults, prizes for the best Thanksgiving-themed costumes, and a pie raffle in which all finishers are entered. Proceeds benefit Our Neighbors' Table; donations of unexpired, undamaged packaged food items are collected at bib pickup and on race day, with a request for gluten-free options and canned meals.
